It has started. The far left is throwing money at Alison Grimes. The lefty press is touting her campaign as on the rise. The mainstream media says she has a real chance. So why are all of these folks trying to create an echo chamber in which they create the illusion that Alison is winning? Here's why.
First, the more you make someone look like the eventual winner the more people want to get on board.
Second, the more you make someone look like the winner, the easier it is to raise money.
Third, the more you talk as if Alison has a real shot, the more people start paying attention.
But the biggest reason these loons want to make it look like Alison has a shot: McConnell is the biggest obstacle to the Obama agenda for America.
So, the REAL reason they want to defeat McConnell so badly is because he is the firewall that prevents them from taking over the nation. Which is, if you take time to think about it, the perfect reason why we need to keep him in office.
He is the check and he provides the balance.
