« Water Outage In Owen County Enters Second Week | Main | Morning Funnies »

January 13, 2014

It's refreshing to see such an honest view on this entire situation. The money that the residents of the county have lost may not seem like much to a large company, but to our family, it was. The loss that businesses and farmers experienced. The cost of residents traveling to other counties for bathing, the cost of laundry, purchasing large amounts of drinking water, the impact to the water bill when "flushing out" the lines, damage to the homes, all of this is costly to not only us but the households that were generous enough to allow us to bathe our family and/or do laundry. The city of Cincinnati had a water main break and was not impacted to the extent that our county was. I think an investigation is definitely in order and hopefully some type of reimbursement to the residents for how costly this has been.
