Corporate interests and monied super PACS developed a bad name a few years ago. In fact, some candidates running under the TEA party banner down right refused to do business with lobbyists, and corporate influence peddlers. To many wide eyed voters this was a refreshing break from politics as usual.
But recent campaign filings by one such fresh face seem to indicate that influence seekers have become his ready source of cash. By far the most predominate number of contributions received by Thomas Massie according to his last two FEC reports has been from PACS, Industry executives and lobbyists.
Now, don't get me wrong, I am not saying that accepting money from people who do business with the government is any indication of wrongdoing, but for those who continue to believe that its all about principle and not about money, or who thought that electing a TEA party candidate would end the days of super PACS, corporations and lobbyists in government this list might come as a bit of a surprise.
Note that three contributions are listed as coming directly from corporations.

You aren't surprised are you Mr. Carey? The guy virtually bought his seat in Congress with a check from a Texas Super PAC. He's clearly not a man of the people.
