White House Threatening Default Refuses To Negotiate

The White House is threatening to shut down the government if it doesn't get 100% of its way on the debt ceiling. In an answer to a question at a recent press conference, White House spokesman Jay Carney confirmed that the White House refuses to negotiate with republicans over the issue.
