He said he was not coming for our guns. He said he was not going to place a high priority on prosecuting state legal marijuana. In otherwords he says, "Trust Me", when I tell you something. I recommend that you don't.
A former medical marijuana dispensary owner on Monday was sentenced to 10 years in prison for operating three facilities in the Inland Empire.Aaron Sandusky, one of only a handful of defendants to fight U.S. prosecutors, was convicted in October on federal charges of distributing marijuana.
His case is one of four in the United States where federal prosecutors filed charges against individuals associated with medical marijuana dispensaries in states where medical marijuana is legal. [contracostatimes]
“The number of sick patients being locked up by the Obama Administration is unprecedented and deplorable,” said Kris Hermes, spokesperson for Americans for Safe Access, the country’s leading medical marijuana advocacy organization. “Aggressive enforcement is an unacceptable means of addressing medical marijuana as a public health issue,” continued Hermes. “The Obama Administration is lying to the American people when it says it’s not targeting individual patients and these cases are clear evidence of that.” Montana patient cultivator Richard Flor died in August while serving out a 5-year prison sentence. [theweedblog]
The Obama Administration has openly announced their intent to bring back the Assault Weapons Ban that was “law” for ten years, but this time Dianne Feinstein and the gun-grabbing liberals aren’t just restricting new weapons & ammo purchases, but seeking legislation to require arms be turned in and private sales be barred. Simultaneously, the Obama Administration is helping to revive the United Nations Small Arms Treaty, which will undermine the sovereignty of the 2nd Amendment by putting international control over the flow of weapons and civilian ownership, inevitably affecting gun rights inside the U.S. particularly in border zones.
This is not speculation, this is not hyperbole, this is not myth– but the admitted plan now underway. [Alex]
Vice President Biden will meet with the National Rifle Association (NRA) and a range of other groups this week as President Obama’s gun violence task force shifts into high gear.
The pace and scope of Biden’s work — the task force he is leading is said to be considering significant changes to gun laws and is scheduled to deliver recommendations to Obama by the end of the month — have left groups scrambling over who can attend. [The Hill]
What does all of this mean? It means that the fools on the hill who still trust him on the left (smoke another one) and the ones on the right who only hold a slim minority in one house of the Congress and can't stop fighting among themselves thus becoming a weaker deterrent to his policies, need to hear from us, to stiffen their resolve and to make it very clear: We can tolerate four more years of little progress, but we will no longer tolerate anything the POTUS says.
Think any of them can put aside their own political futures long enough to understand that?

The Obama White House is using the tragedy in Newton Connecticut to raise money. First of all, why? They won the election, there will not be another one for Obama and they ended up with a surplus. But that didn't stop this despicable act. Where is the outrage?
They won the campaign handily and even had $14.2 million to spare, but the Obama-Biden campaign is still raising money, this time off the president's comments about the Sandy Hook Elementary School shootings in Connecticut.
In email from chief campaign advisor David Axelrod that urges supporters to watch President Obama's moving address to the community of Newtown, Conn., there are two links that open a page with a video player featuring the president's speech and two donate buttons asking for $15-$1,000 for his campaign. Our commander in chief is Barack Obama. His Secretary of Defense and the Military Chiefs of Staff are subordinate to him. Recently a number of high ranking military generals have left office over sex scandals, been removed or arrested at the helm. What kind of iron fisted rule might they object to?
Well, it now seems that the new Army Manual reflects Barack Obama's soft spot for Islam and muzzles our American soldiers fighting for freedom, including freedom of speech. And you STILL don't think this guy is a danger to our country?
From Judicial Watch:
Here is a strong indicator that the Obama Administration’s crusade to appease Islam has gone too far; a new U.S. military handbook for troops deployed to the Middle East orders soldiers not to make derogatory comments about the Taliban or criticize pedophilia, among other outrageous things.
It gets better; the new manual, which is around 75 pages, suggests that Western ignorance of Afghan culture— not Taliban infiltration—is responsible for the increase in deadly attacks by Afghan soldiers against the coalition forces.
The soon-to-be-released Army handbook is still being drafted, but a mainstream newspaper got a sneak preview and published an article that should infuriate the American taxpayers funding the never-ending war on terror. The manual is being created because someone with authority bought the theory that cultural insensitivity is driving insider attacks on U.S. troops in Afghanistan.
More than three dozen insider attacks have killed 63 members of the U.S.-led coalition this year, according to the article, and some blame “American cultural ignorance.” The bottom line is that troops may experience social-cultural shock and/or discomfort when interacting with Afghan security forces, the new military handbook says. “Better situational awareness/understanding of Afghan culture will help better prepare [troops] to more effectively partner and to avoid cultural conflict that can lead toward green-on-blue violence.”
The draft leaked to the newspaper offers a list of “taboo conversation topics” that soldiers should avoid, including “making derogatory comments about the Taliban,” “advocating women’s rights,” “any criticism of pedophilia,” “directing any criticism towards Afghans,” “mentioning homosexuality and homosexual conduct” or “anything related to Islam.”
At least one high-ranking military official had the backbone to publicly criticize the new manual, albeit through a spokesperson. U.S. Marine General John Allen, the top commander in Afghanistan, doesn’t endorse it and rejected a proposed forward drafted by Army officials in his name. “He does not approve of its contents,” according to a military spokesman quoted in the story.
Earlier this year the Obama Administration changed the way federal agents are trained to combat terrorism and violent extremism by eliminating all materials that shed a negative light on Muslims. Under White House orders, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) destroyed instructional material that characterizes Muslims as prone to violence or terrorism in a government-wide call to end Islamophobia.
Under Obama practically every major federal agency has been ordered to participate in Muslim outreach initiatives, including the Justice Department with a special program to protect Islamic civil rights, Homeland Security meetings with extremist Muslim organizations and the nation’s space agency (NASA) with an unprecedented mission to focus on Muslim diplomacy.

The Muslim Brotherhood is holding on to control of Egypt despite raging protests. Of course as we have said before, the Muslim Brotherhood is dedicated to bringing Islamic rule to the entire world. And of course they are friends with Obama, and terrorists are frequent visitors to the White House.
So when you hear some con man try to tell you that the Muslim Brotherhood is a representative of a religion of peace (Islam), consider this:
Egypt’s embattled Muslim Brotherhood regime is paying gangs of thugs to rape women and beat men who gather in Tahrir Square to protest the power grab of President Mohamed Morsi, say activists.
In a bitter replay of the Arab Spring protests that brought down President Hosni Mubarak nearly two years ago, protesters have flooded the Cairo square to denounce Morsi, who has stripped the judiciary of power and is rushing through an Islamist constitution. And while Mubarak is now in prison for using violence to quell protests targeting him, Morsi’s regime is now accused of doing the same. [Fox]

Barack Obama was very interested in getting the youth vote. So he promised them he would make more grants available and college more affordable. Here is the video he pushed out to them.
BUT did he in fact keep his word? Hardly.
Sorry, college students. President Obama has cut your access to Pell Grants by 33%; he just forgot to mention it before Election Day.
During the recent campaign, President Obama claimed credit for increasing funding to the Pell Grant program, which provides college funds, free from repayment, to millions of students. However, an email sent out Tuesday to some Dallas college students is revealing a detail the President forgot to mention: the time a student can receive a Pell Grant has been cut, by as much as three years. With Pell Grants for the fall semester now dispersed, colleges are informing students of their options, bringing the cuts to light.
The email states that the cut in eligibility was part of an education bill President Obama signed into law in 2011. "On December 23, 2011, President Obama signed into law the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2012 (Public Law 112-74). This new federal law states that the amount of Federal Pell Grant funds a student may receive over his or her LIFETIME will be reduced to the duration of a student's eligibility from 18 semesters (or its equivalent) to 12 semesters (or its equivalent). This new law applies to ALL Federal Pell Grant eligible students effective with the 2012-2013 award year beginning July 1, 2012. (DCL-GEN-12-01)"

Which is the worse lie? "I did not have sex with that woman" or "I did not screw those college students".
You can't always get what you want, but you can pretty well count on getting what you deserve.

A good friend sent me a link recently which reports that the GOP is bound by a court order and an agreement with the DNC that they are not allowed to challenge the outcome of the recent presidential election on the basis of voter fraud. You read it and tell me what you think.
The Republican Party made an agreement 30 years ago with the Democrat Party NOT to ensure voting integrity and NOT to pursue suspected vote fraud.
Yes. You read it correctly.
In fact, legally the GOP cannot ensure voting integrity, nor can it prevent vote fraud.
Here’s the astounding reason, which is kept from the American people. This all goes back to a lawsuit 31 years ago, in 1981. The following is compiled from an account on The Judicial View, a legal website specializing in court decision research and alerts, and from “Democratic National Committee v Republican National Committee,” Case No. 09-4615.
To settle the lawsuit, in 1982, the RNC and RSC entered into an agreement or Consent Decree, which is national in scope, limiting the RNC’s ability to engage or assist in voter fraud prevention unless the RNC obtains the court’s approval in advance.
In 2010, the RNC unsuccessfully appealed “to vacate or modify” the Consent Decree in “Democratic National Committee v Republican National Committee,” Case No. 09-4615 (C.A. 3, Mar. 8, 2012). (I paid The Judicial Review $10 for the PDF of Case No. 09-4615 and uploaded the 59-page document to FOTM’s media library. To read Case No. 09-4615, click here!)
Guy Benson of Townhall.com points out that in last Tuesday’s election, Obama only won by 406,348 votes in 4 states:
- Florida: 73,858
- Ohio: 103,481
- Virginia: 115,910
- Colorado: 113,099
Those four states, with a collective margin of 406,348 votes for Obama, add up to 69 electoral votes. Had Romney won 407,000 or so additional votes in the right proportion in those states, he would have 275 electoral votes.
All four states showed Romney ahead in the days leading up to the election. But on November 6, Romney lost all four states by a substantial margin, all of which have precincts that inexplicably went 99% for Obama, had voter registrations that exceeded their population, and had experienced problems with voting machines.
This election was stolen by the Democrats via vote fraud. Despite all the evidence of fraud, the Republican Party has been strangely silent about it.
Now you know why.
Could it happen? Could voter fraud have stolen the election? Or could it simply have been rigged?

I told you right after the election results were reported that I would wait for things to settle down, for my research to be concluded and then offer an opinion regarding what had actually happened in the presidential race. Since then there have been so many other paths to pursue, I will now need more time.
I know that what I am researching and piecing together would sound like a crazy conspiracy theory if I published it today. But the more I listen, the more I read, the more I study I think what is actually happening is that I am finding more evidence which will help prove my case about what really happened beyond the "crazy conspiracy theory" level of doubt. In fact, I think it is becoming clearer every day.
But just in case you need a peek at what I'm on to, remember what I said right after 9-11-2012, in fact at a time when NO ONE, not Rush, not Beck and certainly none of the lefty sites had even caught a whiff of yet.
Stay tuned right here folks. Give me time to put my case together and I think what you will see will be very convincing.

From Jim Hoft:
November 6, 2012 is the day America changed.
8 to 9 percent unemployment is the new normal. It’s good enough. 46 million people on food stamps is OK. It shows we care. Debt spending is good. It will get paid off some day and if not, our kids can worry about it. Trillion dollar deficits make sense.Socialized medicine is good. It will cost more, but did you honestly believe it wouldn’t? It doesn’t matter what you were told. Catholics should pay for abortions. Sandra Fluke is a prophet. Abortions and birth control should be free. We should fund abortions overseas, too.
The First Lady should be allowed to blow millions on lavish vacations. The White House parties should cost millions, too. The president should play as much golf and basketball as he pleases. They deserve it. They work hard. They’re Democrats.
Greedy Americans should pay more taxes and millions of Americans who pay no taxes should receive more free money. It’s only fair. Businesses can afford to pay more taxes too. That’s what they teach you in school, right? We all know the Bush tax cuts that brought the deficit from $450 billion to $175 billion in four years and created millions of jobs didn’t work. Obama said so. And did you know Obama created 5 million jobs? Who cares how he came up with that number. In September he even created 600,000 part-time jobs somewhere. And, don’t you dare question his math.
Benghazi was a protest, or a terrorist attack. Obama said so from the beginning. Who cares anyway. Things like that happen all the time. And the media never covered anything up to help the president either. Right, 60 Minutes?
Al-Qaeda is dead or on the run.
We pushed the restart button with Russia. Putin is a democrat. He can be trusted. What do you mean there are Russian subs in the Gulf and off the east coast?
It’s not racist that 97% of blacks vote Democrat. It’s racist if you are white and vote Republican.
The media is your friend. The mainstream media is not biased. They would never hide anything from you.
Katrina was a national embarrassment. It was Bush’s fault. Sandy was not so bad. And Obama did a great job focusing on it from between campaign stops. The people are not suffering so much or we would have heard about it in the news.
America was once the land of the free. Now we want to be told what to do. More government is good. We want stuff.
On Tuesday America changed forever.God help us in the days ahead.
From Daily Caller:
There will be plenty of time for Republicans to debate what changes must be made in order to once again become a majority party capable of attracting new voters and earning back the White House.
The GOP shouldn’t abandon its core principles, but it’s time for some reinvention. An obvious place to start is with demographics. For example, as I have long advocated, Republicans simply must find a way to appeal to Hispanics.
From POLITICO:
Republicans face a crisis: The country is growing less white, and their coalition has become more white in recent years.
But the GOP’s problem is more fundamental than one bloc of voters. For the second consecutive presidential election, the Republican got thumped among women and young voters in the states that decided the election.
“Our party needs to realize that it’s too old and too white and too male and it needs to figure out how to catch up with the demographics of the country before it’s too late,” said Al Cardenas, the head of the American Conservative Union and a longtime GOP leader. “Our party needs a lot of work to do if we expect to be competitive in the near future.”
From Michelle Malkin:
My counsel to you tonight: Please, do not be bitter. Do not fall prey to the Beltway blame game. Do not get mired in small things. Do not become vengeful creatures like our political opponents who voted out of spite instead of love of country.
We still have boundless blessings to count — and to secure.
I remain a proud, unrepentant believer in the American Dream. And I know you do, too. Freedom will endure because we will keep fighting for it. We can’t afford not to, friends.

Barack Obama's win seemed to go against much of the late momentum being seen across the nation in favor of Mitt Romney's challenge but in the end both the electoral count and the popular vote went in favor of Obama. To many in the nation who opposed him the answer as to how this could happen escapes them.
I will take a few days to analyze matters more carefully but here are my early take aways.
First, Obama's win is a credit to the democratic strategy which has been in play for over 50 years. Rather than seeing the nation as a whole, they view it as a patchwork quilt of various interest groups each of which can be won separately to piece together an electoral college win. It is a strategy which has divided the nation.
Second, this isn't your daddy's America anymore. The members of "The Greatest Generation" are no longer a dominant force. Their real life experience with Communism and Fascism and the threats they pose to our way of life have faded from the political landscape. Those threats to liberty and prosperity are footnotes at best in history books being taught to generations of kids who see no value in learning. The assault on our education about American values has worked.
Third, there is a growing racial tension in America driven for the most part by people of color. Rather than see themselves as Americans they see themselves as "African-Americans" or "Hispanic-Americans" or "Latinos". They are struggling to gain power for themselves as a group based solely upon the color of their skin and their heritage. As such they have become a unified factor in the political demographics of the nation.
Fourth, the TEA party ideologues who refuse to help the Republican win unless it is one of their own have now helped Barack Obama win a second term. While their influence might have worked to give them a seat at the table in a Romney administration they will get nothing but left handed credit from the Obama administration for being so stupid as to think they made progress. Only a few of the many TEA party candidates won last night. In fact in some districts they helped deliver a solidly republican seat into democratic hands. Pundits will say it is time for the GOP to reassess itself. I agree. But the nation has made it very clear, the incalcitrance of the Ron Paul crowd has given them just the opposite of what they say they were trying to avoid. Instead of the "lesser of two evils" they helped re-elect the "greater" evil.
Fifth, the GOP controlled Congress must immediately begin a full investigation into the Behghazi affair. It must vote to keep the Bush tax cuts, and find a path toward impeaching Obama. It is shameful that the Romney campaign did not find a way to push the Benghazi issue harder. To allow this election to be focused purely on economic issues was obviously a losing strategy. Yes "it's the economy stupid" but some people aren't stupid enough to think that any president with a five point plan is going to harness the huge economic engine of America without firing up a bigger government which even democrats reject. But every American who pays attention knows the threats we face from foreign enemies and knows that the president is commander in chief. Reagan didn't shy away from making that point and he won a very tight first election. Romney's focus needed to be more military, security and making Obama out to be untrustworthy to protect us. On this point he let us down and as a result let the architect of the Benghazi/Muslim Brotherhood/Al Qaeda scandal off the hook.
A little time and a little distance will give me a better perspective, but these are my early morning thoughts.
God bless us all.
