Why do democrats and liberals continue to trust anything their candidates say? Remember Obama's campaign promises to end the war in Afghanistan? Remember how he tried to hang that war around President Bush's neck? Remember how the liberals flocked to him because he was different? Now look.
In total, 2,144 U.S. military personnel have given their lives fighting in and around Afghanistan as part of Operation Enduring Freedom.
1,575 of the U.S. military personnel who have sacrificed their lives in this cause were killed during the presidency of Barack Obama.
That means 73 percent of the casualties in the Afghan War have happened on Barack Obama’s watch.[CNS News]
Obama also vowed to heal the nation's racial divide.
Even as America experiences its most profound demographic change in more than a century, our society is increasingly fracturing along overlapping racial, generational, and partisan lines. The diversity remaking America could be a source of rejuvenation and innovation, but today it is reinforcing our ferocious partisan polarization. [National Journal]
An NBC News-Wall Street journal poll released Tuesday showed that just 19 percent of African-Americans believe “America is a nation where people are not judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character,” compared to 79 percent who did not agree with that statement.
In January 2009, 41 percent of blacks expressed agreement with the statement that believed are judged by “the content of their character.” [TheGrio]
Barack Obama promised to strengthen the middle class and fix the economy.

Despite all the money poured into organizations run by and supported by Barack Obama, Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton, poor black Americans have seen no movement off of the plantations maintained by these charlatans over the past half century.
Black America is largely unemployed, in debt and in prison, civil rights activist Rev. Jesse Jackson told hundreds gathered at the annual National Urban League conference Friday, before asking them what they were going to do about it.
MSNBC commentator and civil rights leader Rev. Al Sharpton argued that black Americans were facing higher unemployment rates because of where they work.
"Every since Obama has been in, there's been an increase in jobs in the private sector but black unemployment has increased. Why? Because we work in the public sector," he said. [US News]
Even Harry Reid, Obama's best man, can't be trusted. He said he would not campaign against Mitch McConnell but is planning a fundraiser for Alison Lundergan-Grimes.
The facts are out there for anyone to see. The liberals and the democrats are not being honest even with their own voters!
And when it comes to the war in Afghanistan, with nearly 3/4 th's of the deaths coming on Obama's watch, it is clear. Obama now owns this, and any shame is now his legacy.
