Representative Jim Moran of Virginia stood at a meeting and said that it is paranoid people who think the government is coming after your handguns but that he only supports limiting the purchase of a handgun to one a month. But HOTAir has put his comments in juxtaposition to the comments of another House member.
Representative Jan Schakowsky of Illinois was asked by Jason Mattera about that same issue and her comments were strikingly different. In fact, she said that the plans to ban the mis-named "assault rifle" was just a start and that hand gun bans were something "we're working on".
Just because somebody has labeled you as paranoid doesn't mean "they" aren't really out to get your guns I guess.
