Rand Paul: "Any Attack On Israel Is An Attack On The United States"

Rand Paul made a much bolder statement than his father ever did, according to one report, when he told an interviewer that if president he would send a message to the world that any attack on Israel would be treated as an attack on the United States.  For those who thought his politics would never change, well, there you go.

But then again, though I've continued to support Rand on most issues, he may be a bit wobbly with some of his base on this one.  The best anyone can tell, non-interventionists don't make exceptions, and Rand's prior behavior has at least caused some to suspect that he is more willing to alter his position than he was originally thought to be capable of.

Now that 2016 and a presidential run is on his radar screen, Paul sees some value in a more neo-con approach to world politics, though he still shouldn't have let that picture of his chicken wing arms with mud on his face come out from his dip in the dead sea.
