Governor Steve Beshear delivered his state of the Commonwealth address to the legislature last night saying that the tight economic times mean that government will have to cut spending and tighten its belt.
Funny isn't it how liberals always rush to adopt conservative principles when their fanny is in the fire?
Of course had the tax and spenders in Frankfort been more frugal over the last 40 years then perhaps when economic winter hit, their cupboard wouldn't be so bare.
Oh well, taking a page from the Obama play book, little Steve seemed to be saying "why waste a good crisis, huh"?
