The Drudge Report has posted a photo montage including a pose of Director of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano, next to what has been widely circulated on the internet today as an image from a full body airport security scanner. Only problem is, the scanner photo is probably a hoax.
The photo from Drudge is below. The full photo showed up on Facebook and other places today seemingly exposing how a "negative" made from an airport scanner could turn into a fully fleshed out nude photo.
If one takes the photo and then uses a program (Adobe Photoshop) and makes an image adjustment to "invert", yes the purported scanner image will turn into a nude photo.
However, several other confirmed scanner photos from reliable sources subjected to the same test do not produce the same result. This is pretty clear evidence that the so called scanner photo is just the negative of a nude photo and when one reverses the process, the nude photo is revealed.
Shame Drudge would fall for this hoax. Doesn't look good for them.
