On December 30th Dr. Rand Paul of Bowling Green Kentucky will officially file his nominating petition to run for the United States Senate on the republican ticket, seeking not only to succeed retiring Senator Jim Bunning, but to send a message, first from RPK headquarters in Frankfort and later from The Kentucky Fair Grounds in Louisville Kentucky, says David Adams, Paul's campaign manager.
"The symbolism of Rand's first press conference as an official candidate at Republican headquarters is to make one thing clear: the sissification of the Republican party ends now. The era of big government Republicanism has been a failure and it is over. Rand will make that statement loud and clear for those Republicans who stand for capitalism and government that serves the people without also serving them up as sacrificial lambs."
On January 30th Paul will hold another rally at the Kentucky Fair and Exposition Center in Louisville where he will be joined by his father, Texas Congressman Ron Paul for a fundraising event which begins at 3 pm. Tickets are $25 for adults and $10 for children, with a maximum charge of $70 per family.

Mike;
I have been told by Rand's manager that Steve Robertson, the RPK chair has given them the green light for the event. It might be very telling. If it is a small crowd, that's one thing. If it's shock and awe, now THAT would send a message.

Sissification? Sounds like a shot at Mitch. Might as well since McConnell is supporting Grayson. Should be very interesting.

Marcus,
Are you sure that the "Mitch McConnell Building" and the surrounding property will not be barricaded to keep us out?
The establishment RINOs are a desperate bunch lately.
They tried twice this year to disrupt and bar Rand Paul from speaking at the Airport Marriott.
