With hours yet to go on his "money bomb" day, the Rand Paul campaign has just announced that with over $200,000 raised today, more on the way and two weeks left to go in this reporting period, they have now gone over one half million dollars for this quarter in fund raising.
It is very hard to raise money for a political race during the holiday stretch of a campaign and though other candidates have been much more secretive about their numbers, Paul's announcement is certainly newsworthy.
