Muslim Demographics: A Call To Action

I received a link to this video a short time ago.  I thought I would post it to see your reaction.  If these statistics are accurate, this is a very eye opening revelation.

Well, if you believe this and you are afraid of Muslims, it would seem scary. However, it is largely untrue. If you look at the medographic information for most Muslim countries, the number of children per woman is less than 3.0. However, because the mortality rate is higher in Muslim countries, they aren't that much higher than replacement level. When people emigrate to a developed country, their fertility rates tend to change to match that of the country they are in. I couldn't find any Muslim country with a fertility rate of anywhere near 8.1.

The video quotes Khaddafi (which should tell you something) and a whacky website run by people waiting for the end of days, who still don't believe there will be a financial crisis (as of their post 11/2008), and "research" which is of unspecified origin. Islam is growing faster than the Catholic church, because the Catholic church has been shrinking -- not because of population, but because people are leaving.

Even if it were true, why are people afraid of Muslims. They are killed at a way higher rate by crazy extremist Muslims than any other religion. Jesus didn't say, "you must take over the world," he said, "love thy neighbor."
