In Response To A Friend's Question On Facebook "The Marcus Carey Perspective"

After I linked to a blog post from BluegrassBulletin.com on my Facebook page a long time friend, and a proud democrat I might add, raised a serious question. "How can you argue that doing nothing is doing the right thing?" she asked.

I answered her on Facebook, but thought the answer might be worth a little extra effort.
