Okay young man, here's your chance to change the world.  Today's jobless figures jumped to a 14 year high of 6.5%.  Yesterday the stock market fell through the floor dropping hundreds of points more, and with the unemployment news, today is not likely to be the day of rebound on Wall Street.

After you finish shooting hoops, courting lobbyists to serve in your administration, hire a few more partisan hacks to advise you and celebrate how you pulled one over on the American voter, how about coming up with a real plan to fix the world you are about to inherit?

If you do, you will go down as one of the great ones.  If you don't you'll just go down in the polls until Hillary and Bill find your Achilles heel and send you packing back to the windy city.

The unemployment rate is based off of labor dept and irs data and not who's collecting unemployment as was erronously reported above. The officials compare their data with the unemployment data to ensure proper extrapolation has been done. Points 3 & 4 are correct though. Info from snopes.com.

Oh - and since we're calling for accuracy here. Give credit where due. The Economic growth of the 90's is at least 40% attributable to Bush(41), some would say 60% because he started it all.

My thinking is more in line with 65% because he raised taxes to cover government spending at the end of an artificial expansion caused by his pursuit of Saddam.

We also limit camping and kill-stealing issues by "instancing" certain areas of the game. No other players, unless they are part of your group, can enter your instance.

Competition over rare item drops and quest items is the primary cause of camping and kill stealing. In World of Warcraft, many rare item drops are not exclusive to any one creature. Several creatures will have a chance of dropping the same item. If the required item is a quest item, the player can join a group of other players on the same quest. Every player on the quest will receive a copy of the quest item from the monster or location where it was found.
Are there other things to do besides leveling?
There is a huge variety of things to do to keep players from feeling like they just have to grind through one creature battle after another. Characters can craft items, fight in vast battles against other players, and explore distant lands. Even when players do fight monsters, it will often be as part of a quest, or in search of special ingredients for their crafts.

How large is the party size for players?
The maximum number for a party is five players, and the game is generally balanced for groups of five. Smaller groups can still be quite successful, and regardless of the group's size, everyone in the group can make important contributions. To be classified as 'officially unemployed', one must:
1. Be drawing unemployment compensation
2. Seeking work
3. Not laid-off awaiting recall
4. Not retired drawing SS retirement benefits.

I am not unemloyed; I have no job. No difference - except to those of you out there who need to mislead with disinformation and falsehoods.

The honest definition is:
1. Employed at part-time or no job
2. Looking for work or a better job.

By adding the requirement that we be drawing unemployment, you have falsely depressed the critical statistic and falsely taken claim to a soundness that doesn't really exist.

I strongly advise the new administration to redefine unemployment rate, making it a more realistic measurement of the United States fiscal health.
